Thursday, February 8, 3-4:30pm PT / 6-7:30pm ET (NOTE special time for educators!)

The February forum will be tailored for teachers and other education partners who work in middle and high schools and would like to spread awareness about fentanyl and fake pills to youth and adults in their community. Kristen Gustafson and Jenn Hicks of Beaverton School District (Oregon) will share the successful Fake & Fatal program they implemented in their community, including classroom education for all of their middle and high schoolers, in spring 2021. Christopher Pepper, mrhealthteacher.com, will talk about “Tools for Schools: How Middle and High Schools Can Talk About Fentanyl.” Lastly, Jennifer Epstein of Song for Charlie will share New Drug Talk and SFC videos and other resources available for classroom use or to educate caregivers. This promises to be a super informative meeting for any school looking to better educate their students ang community on the important topic of fentanyl and fake pills.
