Through the PBATS PLAY Campaign, with 10 stops at major league stadiums across the country, and as one of a select few nonprofits invited to have a booth at the MLB All-Star Village, we’re reaching thousands of kids and families in-person with our vital message about the dangers of fentanyl and fake pills.

In the illegal drug market, chemicals are way more profitable raw materials than plants.  That’s why fentanyl is used to press fake prescription pills, sold deceptively as Xanax, Percocet, Oxycodone & more. It is also found in cocaine, ecstasy, heroin and meth. Drug users are frequently unaware that their drug contains fentanyl, which puts them at extremely high risk of accidental poisoning.  That’s why fentanyl is involved in 79% of Gen Z drugs deaths, higher than any other age group.

In 2020, Charlie Ternan was a regular guy; a 22-year-old college senior trying to find his place in the world.

Then, Charlie made a fatal mistake.  He took a pill that turned out to be a fake Percocet made of fentanyl and died.  Sadly, thousands of young people have died in similar ways recently.
